VITAMIN B COMPLEX - ORAL
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Surbex, Theravite, Vicon-C, Z-Bec
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, cretain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of cetrain vitamin products. Consult your pharmacist. Chewable tablets must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing followed with a glass of water.
Timed-release capsules or tbalets must be swallowed whole.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nuasea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or becmoe severe.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before using that medication.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using that medication. No issues have been reported in pregnant or nursing women when that medication was used in normal doses.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor if you take any other medication, inculding nonprescription.
This medication may affect certain urine lab tests, including urine glucose tests. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include diarrhea, loss of coordination; numbness of the hands or feet; joint pain, or painful urination.
NOTES: There are many vitaimn supplement products available. Some can be purchased without a prescirption. Consult your doctor or pharamcist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almsot time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to cacth up.
STORAGE: Store oral products at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
